Here you will find various information about using the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). If you are looking for a general overview of the model, then I recommend either my book about this topic ("CMMI. Improving Software and Systems Development Processes Using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI-DEV)"), or have a look at the literature list.

You will find some specific information about CMMI, e.g. for companies or people planning a CMMI appraisal. However, this information will not be sufficient to perform an appraisal on your own - there is a good reason for the high requirements on authorized lead appraisers. Instead, the information here is intended to help you to successfully work with such an authorized lead appraiser.
